Business seems to have picked up lately and I have enjoyed making the many blog makeovers that I’ve been doing recently. I really can’t tell you what a kick I get out of seeing so many of you enjoying your blog makeovers!

I also really appreciate those of you who have mentioned my work on your blogs – and although I don’t like singling people out – I must give a special thanks to Joey. You can find her blog here by the way. Joey seems to find any opportunity to tell people about my work and I appreciate it sooooo much :)

I’m working on some graphics for a blog called Stuck At The Wrong End Of The Stethoscope at the moment. Do call over there and say hello if you can – and then sit back and wait as I’ll be (hopefully) installing the new makeover on Tuesday. Its in testing right now and can I just say – I feel soooooo excited about this one cos its just scrumptious. Ok well I admit it I always feel excited about my makeovers LOL.

I'm so excited! I just posted some lovely summery graphics at my other blog Adori Graphics. I really really love them.....why not go have a nosey :)

Since I started offering free blog makeovers there too you may be wondering why I'm carrying on with this blog....well its for 2 reasons. First of all, people who are eligible (see the Do I Qualify page) then you will jump straight to the top of the queue....plus all of the graphics that I offer through this website will ALWAYS be free! I can't guarantee that will be the case on the other blog....supply and demand and all that. At the moment demand is low....nobody loves me LOL.

I often get asked if I can supply additional buttons and graphics for people after I've completed their design - in fact almost every person decided they want a little something extra....and I'm more than happy to do that. I'm also very happy to re-design when you fancy a change - the only thing I need to point out is that people who have never had a design before would have priority (but don't let that put you off). An example of this is Joey who has a blog called Joey, Living with brittle asthma. I made her a lovely summery sunflower and butterfly theme and today I was contacted to see if I could provide a signature graphic. I have just made it and installed it in about 20 minutes....max. So yeah....feel free to ask for any extras!

Well you know, I thought it was about time I gave this blog a makeover too. I mean, seriously? Who would have wanted a blog makeover after visiting the previous blog? It was hardly my best work. Anyway, I like this theme as its simple and fresh. I hope you like it too :)

Well that's it for now. I've had a busy weekend in Blogland and its back to work tomorrow so I better go get some beauty sleep.....lots of it LOL.

Sneaky Peek & other stuff :)

As promised.....here is a sneaky peek of the blogwear that I'm currently working on. I'm actually working on 2 versions of things so that the blog owner can do some "mixing and matching". I often do that because....well....it stops things getting a bit "samey". Anyway I hope you approve :)

The image below is a link button which matches the general theme of the blogwear. It is shown here larger than it will end up though.....so don't panic LOL.

Lately I've been wondering about offering a monthly give away so that people who wouldn't necessarily qualify for a free blog design can have a chance at getting one for free. To be honest most of my work is done free via this blog - as opposed to being paid for a sold via my other blog - Adori Graphics.

I've also been thinking about doing a makeover on this blog as well. I mean the design here certainly doesn't reflect what I'm capable of and I'm starting to think that that might actually be an issue? Its just a case of finding the time. when you live life as full as I do there's barely any time left :)

So anyway let me know what you think about the giveaway and the makeover here....

I'm currently busy working on some blogwear for the blog that I mentioned in my previous post. I have sooooo many ideas lately that taming them and focusing on them has needed some patience lol. So anyway I have made some sketches and am busy working on the graphics. I make all my graphics from scratch so it takes me a while but I think the end result is worth it. I love the set that I'm working on at the moment and think it might just be my favouite yet. I would love to give you a sneaky peek but...well......I wouldn't want to give the game away LOL.

Sometimes I break my own rules

I know the emphasis of this blog is to provide free blog graphics to people who are living in difficult circumstances - people living with long term illness, or a bereavement, or who have a prematurely born infant etc......but sometimes I break my own rules by offering free blog makeovers to other people who I think do amazing work ot whose blogs have such a wonderful feel to them.

Last weekend I stumbled on one such blog. Called Almost There, it's got a lovely feel to it. I was impressed and very touched that this lady was praying for people who she didn't even know. With the difficult point that I'm going through in my own life right now, I can't tell you what a great find that that post was. And much to my delight, she accepted my offer of a blog make-over :)

I'm very sorry about the lack of updates over the last couple of weeks and also because it has been taking me longer to complete your makeover projects. I thought you deserved an explanation for this. Unfortunately, my husband lost his job on 7th April and so we have been researching new jobs and also lodging an appeal with his current employer. The company have lost a few thousand workers worldwide and, although we almost felt it was only a matter of time, the news is still hard to take.

How to add a sgnature to your posts

1.Upload your signature image to your photo host - if you haven't already done so
2. Copy the URL of the image file1.
3. Log into your account and go into the "Layout" view
4. Click on the "edit html" tab
5. Check the box which reads "expand widget templates"
6. Look for the following code

7. Delete this code
8. In this space, type text below and insert the URL for your signature image in the portion of text which reads"URL of your signature image"

9. Preview the changes
10. Save

NOTE - BACK UP YOUR TEMPLATE BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES TO IT!

The Weir family just got a makeover!

The Weir family have a 12 year old daughter who has chronic pancreatitis and they approached us a couple of weeks ago asking for a blog makeover. They provided us with some examples of the type of blog layout that they were after.

The brief was for a blog which:
is "cute"
includes a character similar to the Gorjuss girls
includes the family name in the blog header
Purples and pinks
Has an "about us" feature box
includes "contact us" and "photos" buttons

We sent their blog graphics to the family a few days ago and believe that they were thrilled with their new make-over.

Meet the Kelly's

This week we've been working hard on some beautiful new blogwear for the Kelly family's blog. The Kelly family have a private blog, but have given us permission to post their bogwear here. We think it's a great example of our work....and very cute too. The Kelly family have 3 children with Asperger's syndrome and have been blogging about their life for 3 years. Mrs Kelly is delighted with the blog facelift and says she is looking forward to a new facelift in the future. We're delighted that you're delighted Mrs Kelly :)

How many blog sets can I get from you?
There is no limit, but priority will always be given to people who have not had a blog set from me before.

Can I suggest a theme or colours?
Yes, you can suggest themes, colours or whatever else. We do our best to please!

Will you help me install it?
I can install your graphics for you if you supply me with your log in details. Note that you can change your password temporarily if you don't want to give me the real one.

Will my other blog widgets still work?
This has always been the case with all the blogs that we have tested.

What does it cost?
The service is completely free although we would appreciate it if you took a link button to place on your blog. This allows us to spread our service to more people who can benefit from it. A comment in our blog would be lovely too, especially if you want to tell us how we have helped you.

How long does it take you to make the blog set?
All together it takes about 20-25 hours on average. Therefore, it is possible that your request might be in the queue for a week or 2.
